Types of Night Time Care

We understand that everyone’s needs are different, which is why we offer two types of nighttime care.

Sleep-in Care

A carer stays overnight in the home, providing reassurance and peace of mind. They are nearby if needed and can respond quickly should support be required.

Waking Night Care

A carer remains awake and attentive throughout the night, ready to give continuous support. This is often the best choice for people with complex health conditions or those receiving palliative care, where comfort and close monitoring are especially important.

I never wanted any carers but had to have them after breaking my leg,it was the best decision I ever made. I’ve always struggled and done things myself,I’ve always hated asking for help. My “Mountbatten carers” are an absolute godsend,they are kind,caring,they help me with everything,washing,dressing,getting up from my chair,anything I need. They do,nothing is a problem for them. I ended up in hospital again before Christmas and was diagnosed with heart failure,so now I’m dealing with that as well as all my other medical problems. I’m not steady on my feet so I’m glad when I get up I’ve got both my carers to hold on too,I can’t even carry anything as I use crutches. I rely on my carers so much mentally and physically,I don’t know where I’d be without them
