Mountbatton Care operates many Supported Living projects, with group houses, individual houses, shared and single flats, enabling adults and children with learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism and acquired brain injury to maintain their independence with the appropriate individual level of support and care to facilitate inclusion in the local community.
Tenancies are offered on an assured basis which affords the residents improved rights and safety concerning their accommodation.
Tenants of both genders are welcome and a wide range of needs, including complex needs and challenging behaviours that can be encountered. Support and care is provided at an individual level with the person centred support plan agreed following comprehensive assessment with the participation of the persons, family & friends and all other professionals involved in their provision. We continue to work closely with individuals and their carers plus local multi-disciplinary teams (psychiatrists, social workers, community nurses etc.) during their time with us, specifically during regular reviews.
Our experienced staff teams encourage individuality and community incorporation through team and individual systems that utilise their wide range of knowledge and experience in enabling people to achieve their personal goals. College options, work and social activity are encouraged and supported by the staff teams both by the development of an individual’s abilities and strengths.
The care/support delivered is regulated by CQC in line with the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety. All senior management warrant that the quality of service delivery is sustained.
A 24 hour ‘on call’ system is in place to offer staff at all levels additional support and guidance when required.
Mountbatton Care has Domiciliary Care agencies in various locations offering suitable supported living accommodation around the North West.
